Annie Elizabeth (Thomsen) Wallis (1892 - 1959)

Annie Elizabeth Thomsen ble dødt 1892 i Masterton, Wairarapa, New Zealand. Hun døde 1959 i New Zealand. Hun var datter av Hans Carl Thomsen og Mary Ellen Griffiths. Annie Elizabeth giftet seg med William Forfar Wallis den 17 Okt. 1919 i St Andrew's Church, Carterton, New Zealand. De hadde sønnen:

"22 / 23 April 1944

Took off from Little Staughton at 22.14. Task was to bomb railway yards. The plane was shot down by a night fighter and exploded, crashing in flames at Dives, north-east of Compiegne, with a loss of the whole crew.

WALLIS Bernard Forfar: Pilot Officer 413326. Pilot 582 (R.A.F.) Sqdn., Royal New Zealand Air Force. Died Sunday 23 April 1944. Age 20. Son of William Forfar Wallis, and of Anne Elizabeth Wallis (nee Thomson), of Wellington, New Zealand. Buried: ROYE NEW BRITISH CEMETERY, Somme, France. Ref. Plot 2. Row AB. Coll. grave 16-18".
