Inger Hansdatter
(1791 - 1845)

Inger Hansdatter was born in 1791 on Findal farm, Bamle, Telemark County, Norway. She died 22 July 1835(# 30) on Tveten farm, Bamle, Telemark County, Norway. She was daughter of Hans Torbjørnsen and Ingeborg Gjertsdatter. Inger married Jacob Hansen 15 Sep. 1816(# 17) in Bamle church, Bamle, Telemark County, Norway. They had at least 4 children:

1. Hans Jacobsen, b. 1816(# 40), d. Abt. 1865, m. 6 Sep. 1840(# 8), Maren Johanne Larsdatter.
2. Ole Andreas Jacobsen, b. 1820(# 7), d. 4 Mar. 1820(# 9),
3. Ingeborg Maria Jacobsdatter, b. 1823(# 8), m. 18 July 1851(# 11), Hans Jacob Christophersen.
4. Ole Andreas Jacobsen, b. 1829(# 31), m. 28 Dec. 1855(# 41), Anne Margrethe Christiansdatter.

Inger was christened 4 Dec. 1791
in Bamle church.

In the 1801 census she was living on Rotvig farm, Risør, Aust-Agder County, Norway together with her parents and siblings. Her name was then listed as Inger Hansdatter and her father leased the farm and he was a miller.

Inger and her family moved back to Bamle before 1806.


Inger was buried
28 July 1835(# 30) in Bamle church.
