Oline (Nilsdatter) Thomsen (1854 - )

Oline Thomsen was born May 4, 1854 on Avløpet, Ivarsøy farm, Fitjar, Hordaland County, Norway. She was daughter of Nils Elias Thomsen and Sophie Christiansdatter.

In the 1865 census, Oline was living on Avløpet farm together with her mother and siblings.

Oline moved to Askøy (Bergen) in 1874.

She was mentioned as 28 years old when she emigrated to America, 3 Feb. 1883. She traveled with the Norddeutscher Lloyd. She was then unmarried, and was living in Bergen. She travelled first to Bremen and from there on Feb. 18, 1883 with the ship S/S Neckar to New York were she arrived on Mar. 3, 1883. 1)
