Mons Olufson (1616 - ca. 1668)

Mons Olufson was born in 1616. He died about 1668 on Lille Sleire farm, Masfjorden in Hordaland County, Norway. From the 1657 census (kvegskattmanntallet) we can see that he was running a small part of Lille Sleire farm. He was probably a son of Oluf, one of the three men who were living on Lille Sleire farm in 1657. In the 1666 census he had half of the farm, 2 pund butter (smør) and he was then 50 years old and his son was 2 years old:

1. Rasmus Monsson b. 1668, Lille Sleire farm.
