Norway.
She
emigrated to USA 1864 together with her parents and siblings and
was living in Muskegon, Michigan, for one year, where her father
died, and she came west with her mother and siblings to Pierce County,
Wisconsin. She used the name Anne Margrethe Jacobson in USA.
In the 1880
census Anna Huffy was living in River Falls, Pierce, Wisconsin,
USA together with her husband Henry Huffy and their children Edward
and Hilda Huffy.
In the 1900
census Annie Huffey was living in Hudson city Ward 1-2, St. Croix,
Wisconsin, USA together with her husband Henry Huffey and their
children Edward, Hilda, Ch*, Luther, Carl, Mabel and Louis. She
was mother to 7 children.
