Carl Gustav Emil Johnson (1889 - 1964)

Carl Gustav Emil Johnson was born March 20, 1889 in Dane County, Wisconsin. He died September 28, 1964 in Stoughton, Wisconsin. He was son of Carl Otto Johnson and Martha (Carlson) Johnson. He married Mabel Marie Anderson, daughter of Ander Tongring (Anderson) and Martha Engebretson. They had 2 children:

1. (Carl) Fletcher Johnson, b. February 22, 1922, Stoughton Community Hospital, Stoughton, Wisconsin, d. March 10, 1923, Stoughton, Wisconsin.

All he was heard called was Carl but the funeral card referred to him as Fletcher. He was burried March 12, 1923, Riverside Cemetery, Stoughton, Wisconsin.

2. Evelyn Vergene Johnson, b. November 09, 1924, d. August 03, 2004.

Some records spell Carl with a K. There are conflicting dates of birth, 20 March 1890, 24 April 1890, 29 April 1890, 20 March 1889. The one used is on the funeral card. He was burried, October 01, 1964, Riverside Cemetery, Stoughton, Wisconsin.
