In the 1801
census he was living on Åby (Aabye) farm in Bamle together
with his mother (Johanne Gouthesdtr) and his brother Søren
Larsen and their sister Anne Bollethe Andersdatter. Lars was then
an able seaman.
Lars was also a seaman when he was
married. Later he worked as a carpenter, but
when he died he was a able seaman again.
Lars was buried 14
Oct. 1840(# 13) in
Brevik church, Brevik, Telemark County, Norway.
