Marie Anette (Severson) Hanson (1901 - 1977)

Marie Anette Severson was born 8 Oct. 1901. She died 24 July 1977. She was daughter of John Martin Severson and Kathrine Carlson. Marie married Olaf Hanson 2 Sep. 1922, he died 1969. They had 4 children:

1. Obert Hanson.
2. Palmer Hanson, b. 11 Aug. 1925, d. 20 May 1983. Never married.
3. Dorothy Hanson.
4. James Hanson.

Hanson, Mrs. Olaf (Marie)

Stoughton - Mrs. Olaf (Marie) Hanson, age 75, of 324 S. Franklin St., died at the Stoughton hospital on Sunday, July 24, 1977. The former Marie A. Severson was born on October 8, 1901, at Stoughton. She married Olaf on September 2, 1922. He preceded her in death in 1969. Mrs. Hanson was a member of First Lutheran Church. Surviving are three sons, Obert, Palmer and James, all of Stoughton; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Zehr of Pontiac, IL; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at First Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26. Reverend Harold Peterson will afficiate. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery. Friend may call from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, July 25 at the HOLZHUTER FUNERAL HOME. 1)
