John Martin Severson (ca. 1858 - 1923)

John Martin Severson was born abt. 1858, in Norway. He died 10 Nov. 1923 in Stoughton, Wisconsin, USA. John Martin married Kathrine Carlson. They had 7 children:

1. Carl Martin Severson. b. 30 Mar. 1893, d. 9 Aug. 1951.
2. Olaf Severson. b. abt. 1896, d. 16 Dec. 1924. He was killed in a truck accident. Never married.
3. Theodore Severson. b. 15 May 1898, d. July 1986, LaCrosse, WI.
4. Lillian (Lilly) Severson, b. 22 June 1899, d. 20 Mar. 1975.
5. Marie Anette Severson, b. 8 Oct. 1901, d. 24 July 1977.
6. Arthur Melvin Severson, b. 22 May 1904, d. 1 July 1967.
7. Clarence Severson, b. abt. 1907, d. Lincoln, NE

JOHN SEVERSON DIES AT VERONA HOSPITAL.

Deceased was Formerly a Resident of This Locality. Remains Brought Here.

Undertaker Melvin Halverson was notified from the county hospital at Verona this forenoon of the death there this morning of John Severson, formerly a resident of this locality. Mr. Severson, it will be remembered, was at one time a tenant on the Ed Page farm south of town, and before becoming deranged was a semi-invalid for some time.

The remains were brought to the Halverson undertaking rooms this afternoon, but arrangements for the funeral have not been completed. 1)
