Inger Cathrine Thomsen (1822 - 1859)

Inger Cathrine Thomsen was born 13 Aug. 1822 on Røen farm, Tysnes in Sunnhordaland County, Norway. She died 15 Feb. 1859 on Ivarsøy farm in Fitjar. She was burried 22 Feb. 1859 at Fitjar cementary. Inger Kathrine was daughter of Tolleif Thomsen and Cathrine Nielsdatter. She married Berge Endresen on 3 June 1848 in Fitjar church. He was born in 1823 on Tufteland farm. They had 5 children:

1. Cathrine Martine Bergesdatter, b. 23 Feb. 1849, Engesund, Fitjar. Confirmation 9 Oct. 1864. She was then living at Engesund.

2. Johannes Bergesen, b. 2 May 1850, Engesund, Fitjar. Confirmation 1 Oct. 1865. He was then living at Strømøy.

3. Thaline Bergesdatter, b. 18 Mar. 1853, Engesund, Fitjar.

4. Endre Bergesen, b. 24 Jan. 1856, Ivarsøy farm, Fitjar. Moved to Stavanger in 1870.

5. Karl (Carl) Bergesen, b. 8 Feb. 1859, Ivarsøy farm, Fitjar. m. widow Brynhild Sophie Jørgensdatter, from Gramshaug farm, Sveio in Sunnhordaland.

Berge and Inger Kathrine were living on the tenant place Kidholmen at Engesund. Berge was a tenant. Later they moved to Ivarsøy farm. 1)
